Gradual, natural rejuvenation at our Wimpole Street clinic
Book Your ConsultationSculptra® is an advanced collagen-stimulating injectable that works fundamentally differently from traditional dermal fillers. Rather than adding instant volume with hyaluronic acid, Sculptra stimulates your body’s own collagen production, delivering gradual, natural-looking improvements in skin firmness, elasticity, and facial support that can last up to two years.
At DimAllure, Sculptra treatments are personally administered by Dima Alomar, a GPhC-registered Clinical Prescriber Pharmacist, at our clinic on Wimpole Street in Marylebone, London. Every treatment plan is tailored to your facial anatomy, your goals, and your timeline, because no two faces age in the same way.
Made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material that has been used safely in medicine for decades, Sculptra is injected deep into the skin where it acts as a scaffold for new collagen formation. Your body gradually replaces the PLLA with its own natural collagen over the following weeks and months, creating structural support and subtle volume restoration from within.
This mechanism makes Sculptra uniquely different from hyaluronic acid fillers. Where fillers produce an immediate visible result that gradually fades, Sculptra produces a delayed result that gradually builds. The effect is remarkably natural, friends and colleagues notice that you look refreshed and well-rested, but they cannot pinpoint what has changed.
Because Sculptra works with your body’s own biology, the results integrate seamlessly with your facial tissue. There is no “filler look”, no puffiness, and no risk of the product migrating or looking unnatural over time.
Sculptra is a versatile treatment that can address volume loss and skin laxity across multiple areas of the face. The most common treatment areas at DimAllure include:
One of the earliest signs of facial ageing is volume loss at the temples, which can create a gaunt or drawn appearance. Sculptra restores fullness to this area, softening the transition between the forehead and cheekbone.
As collagen production slows with age, the mid-face can lose its natural projection and fullness. Sculptra gradually restores cheek volume and contour without the “overfilled” appearance that can occur with large volumes of dermal filler.
Sculptra can improve jawline definition and reduce the appearance of early jowling by rebuilding collagen in the lower face.
By restoring volume to the mid-face, Sculptra indirectly softens these deeper facial lines.
When placed superficially across the face, Sculptra can improve overall skin thickness, firmness, and texture.
Sculptra can also be used strategically to support lifting and contouring in fuller or rounder faces, particularly around the temples, hairline, and jawline. This approach is sometimes referred to as a non-surgical “ponytail lift”, creating a subtle lifting effect without surgery, threads, or traditional fillers.
Your Sculptra journey begins with a thorough face-to-face consultation at our Wimpole Street clinic. Dima will assess your facial anatomy in detail, discuss your aesthetic goals, review your medical history, and create a personalised treatment plan. This consultation is £50 and is fully redeemable against your treatment.
On treatment day, your skin is cleansed and a topical anaesthetic applied to ensure comfort throughout the procedure. Sculptra is reconstituted and mixed with lidocaine for additional pain relief, then injected using a fine needle or cannula depending on the area being treated. The entire session takes approximately 45–60 minutes.
After treatment, Dima will guide you through your aftercare protocol. This includes a specific facial massage technique, sometimes called the “5-5-5 rule”, to ensure even distribution of the product. You will receive clear written aftercare instructions to take home.
Mild swelling or tenderness may occur in the days following treatment. This is normal and typically resolves within a few days. Most patients return to their normal activities immediately.
Results are not instant. You will begin to notice subtle improvements in skin firmness and facial contour over the following 4–8 weeks as your body produces new collagen. Full results develop over 3–6 months, and most patients require 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart to achieve their optimal outcome.
Sculptra is ideal for patients who are noticing early to moderate signs of facial ageing and want to address them naturally and gradually. You may be a good candidate if you are experiencing:
Sculptra particularly suits patients who prefer a “slow and steady” approach, those who want to look naturally refreshed over several months rather than noticeably different overnight. It is popular with patients in their late 30s through to their 60s, though suitability is always assessed on an individual basis.
Sculptra may not be suitable for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those with active skin infections, or those with a history of keloid scarring. Dima will discuss all contraindications during your consultation.

Book Your ConsultationSculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Rather than adding instant volume like traditional fillers, it works by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production over time. This creates gradual, structural improvements in skin firmness, elasticity, and facial support that can last up to 24 months.
Most patients require 2 to 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Dima will assess your facial anatomy during your consultation and recommend a personalised treatment plan tailored to your goals.
Results can last up to 24 months, making Sculptra one of the longest-lasting non-surgical rejuvenation options available. Results develop gradually over several months as your body produces new collagen.
No. Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid to add volume immediately. Sculptra works differently, it stimulates your body’s own collagen production for gradual, structural improvement over time. The results are subtler and longer-lasting than traditional fillers.
A topical anaesthetic is applied before treatment to ensure your comfort. Most patients experience only mild discomfort during the procedure. Sculptra is also mixed with lidocaine to further minimise any sensation.
At DimAllure, Sculptra starts from £600 per vial. Most patients require 2 to 3 vials across their treatment course. Patients committing to a course of two sessions may receive a planning benefit applied to the second session.
Downtime is minimal. You may experience mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising for a few days after treatment. Most patients return to their normal activities immediately. Dima will provide aftercare instructions during your appointment.
Yes. Sculptra can be placed strategically around the temples, hairline, and jawline to create a visible lifting and contouring effect. This approach is sometimes referred to as a non-surgical ponytail lift and is particularly effective for patients with early facial sagging or hollowing.
