Effective, long-lasting relief for hyperhidrosis at our Wimpole Street clinic
Book Your ConsultationExcessive sweating, clinically known as hyperhidrosis, affects far more people than is often acknowledged. For those who experience it, the impact on confidence, clothing choices, and daily life can be significant. The good news is that medically delivered treatment offers reliable, long-lasting relief.
At DimAllure, we use precision injectable treatment to address excessive underarm sweating safely and effectively. The same purified protein used in anti-wrinkle injections is used here for a different purpose: temporarily blocking the chemical signals that activate overactive sweat glands. The result is a dramatic reduction in sweating that typically lasts four to six months from a single treatment session.
Every treatment at our Wimpole Street clinic is personally administered by Dima Alomar, a GPhC-registered Clinical Prescriber Pharmacist. Each consultation is medically rigorous, and treatment plans are tailored to your specific concerns and lifestyle.
Hyperhidrosis treatment uses botulinum toxin, a purified protein that temporarily blocks the nerve signals between your nerve endings and your sweat glands. When these signals are blocked, the sweat glands in the treated area effectively stop receiving the “produce sweat” instruction, and sweating in that area is significantly reduced.
The treatment is highly localised: only the area treated is affected, and your body’s overall ability to regulate temperature is unaffected. Other areas of the body continue to function normally. Typical results show an 80–90% reduction in underarm sweating within two weeks of treatment.
Hyperhidrosis treatment at DimAllure is offered for the underarms, where it is most effective and best supported by clinical evidence. Treatment of the palms, soles, or scalp may be available on a consultation basis, Dima will discuss suitability during your appointment.
Your treatment begins with a consultation at our Wimpole Street clinic. Dima will discuss your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals, and confirm that hyperhidrosis treatment is right for you. The consultation is £50 and fully redeemable against your treatment.
On treatment day, the underarm area is cleansed and a topical anaesthetic applied for comfort. A series of small, shallow injections are placed across the affected area in a precise grid pattern. The procedure takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
There is no significant downtime. You may notice mild redness or tenderness at the injection sites, which typically settles within a few hours. You can return to normal activities immediately, though we ask you to avoid intense exercise, hot baths, or saunas for 24 hours.
Results begin to develop within 3 to 7 days, with the full effect visible at approximately two weeks. A complimentary review appointment at 2 weeks is included with every treatment.
Results typically last 4 to 6 months. Many patients return for repeat treatments before the effect fully wears off, maintaining consistent control over their symptoms.
Hyperhidrosis treatment is ideal for patients whose excessive sweating is significantly affecting their confidence, comfort, or quality of life. You may be a good candidate if you:
Hyperhidrosis treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for patients with certain neuromuscular conditions. All suitability criteria are discussed at consultation.

Book Your ConsultationThe treatment uses a purified protein that temporarily blocks the nerve signals telling your sweat glands to produce sweat. When the signal is interrupted, sweating in the treated area is significantly reduced, typically by 80–90%.

Most patients describe the sensation as a quick, mild prickle. A topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand for comfort. The treatment takes 30–45 minutes total and is generally very tolerable.
The treatment significantly reduces sweating in the treated area, typically by 80–90%, but doesn’t eliminate it entirely. Your body’s overall temperature regulation is not affected, as only the treated area is altered.
